468 – The Oven

One of a kind design, this two-chamber oven allows for 3 temperature zones, the lower two of which are fire-brick lined and thus ideal for pita bread baking as well as for roasting meats. More than 500 large fire bricks and a smoke exhaust labyrinth combined with controlled air flow and a zero to 100% shut off, results in high efficiency and minimal wood consumption. This invention had to be drawn to scale in order to be approved for construction (M&R Engineering of Halifax provided instrumental evaluation services and final approval). It was approved as a zero-tolerance wood-burning device that complies with the toughest code on the planet. This invention is not patented and anyone who wishes to copy it, can.
