468 was built in 1901 and was operated for more then 30 years as a grocery store, originally by Crosby and later by others. In the 50s it was Dick Sweenys Furniture Repair, while upstairs became Yarmouth’s First Wesleyan Church, until 1964 when it was used as a Union Hall for several trade unions.
The ground floor saw many retail uses including "Wonder Bra" and had as its last commercial tenant "Wesmar Marine Electronics". In 2014 it was slated for demolition. Most of the visible woodwork you see in 468 was pieces of the Zion Baptist Church that used to be located on Parade Street.
